Story Of The Knee Pain Guru…
Some of the best professionals often come from a place of passion and personal experience. As the president of a successful computer company, Bill Parravano, was an unlikely candidate to be on the path he is now. After several knee injuries, he was literally drawn into the world of knees, to save his own. He knew there must be answers, and traveled the world to find them.
At just 29 years old, Bill dislocated his left knee for the very first time. The following 5 months, he had 4 more knee injuries. One of the injuries completely tore the ligament in his left knee and he had to have reconstructive ACL surgery in order to function “normally”. He followed the usual regimen of physical therapy and rehabilitation for two months before being given the “green light”, by Dr. Ellis, to resume his active life style. As a Judo Black Belt martial artist, this was great news, or so he thought.
He found he was not able to fully participate in Judo as he once had. In fact, his left knee consistently felt so weak he was favoring the other leg, and noticed that all the overcompensation was taking a toll on the rest of his body. It was a ripple effect of strain up into his hips, lower back, shoulders, neck, and down into his shins and ankles. Not to mention the pain, tension, and swelling that he constantly felt in his left knee. It didn’t make sense. He was supposed to function “normally”. He did all that the Doctors recommended him to do. After consulting with Dr. Ellis once again, he learned that what he was experiencing was COMMON, and that only a small percentage of knee surgery patients ever fully recover.
For Bill, that was not an option. He had to find a way to live his life without the myriad of problems caused by his knee pain. It was unthinkable to give up his first love, Judo, in order to prevent further pain. He had to do something.
What had been the ripple effect of physical strain and pain throughout his body turned into the ripple effect of learning, practicing, healing, and consulting. Ten+ years later he no longer experiences that sore, stiff, tight, and uncomfortable knee pain he once had, and it has been several years since he has felt it at all.
Bill had an unfortunate setback, as many of us do. That experience put him on a different path in life. That path was to find ways to address and heal his own knee pain, and now he wants to share that knowledge with others. Bill says, “My dream is to make knee replacement surgery obsolete in my lifetime.” You don’t have to live your life with chronic knee pain. Bill has the knowledge and experience to help improve, if not rid, your body of that pain.
He started out with a Degree in Business Finance from the University of Toledo in 1994. By 1996 he was President of Inter Space Computers, specializing in computer parts, upgrades, networking, and network support. In 2000 he sold his computer company in order to travel and find the solutions for his knees. He spent 2.5 years traveling and researching knee health.
As a Judo Black Belt, who competed at regional/national levels for 15 years and had 11 years of Russian Martial Art Training, Bill knows how muscles function. He is an expert in knowing what exercises will target muscles that need strengthening. He is certified in the US and in Europe in Ortho-Bionomy, and has been an Ortho-bionomy Instructor since 2007. As an instructor, he has taught 30 Osteopathic Physicians in Kiev, Ukraine, and has had such success that he is now offering his knowledge to a much larger audience.
He is here and ready to share his knowledge and experience. This information can shorten the healing process and improve your quality of life. There is hope, and change can happen. He has seen the healing effects time and time again, and is more equipped than ever to help you find the results you so desperately need. In his own words, Bill described his goal, “To give the world a natural option for surgery, where everyone is comfortable in their body and can enjoy strong, healthy joints that last a lifetime.”
